A traditional Ibicenco finca held for practice. White walls that cool the afternoon, wooden beams, a shala that opens to the pines, and the slow rhythm of island life outside the door.
Can Tao is a traditional Ibicenco farmhouse — a finca — surrounded by pine trees, wild rosemary, and red earth. We opened it as a place for practice: for yoga, for breath, for quiet, for community.
The shala sits within the house itself, softened by wood and lime. Light moves through it slowly across the day. In the warmer months, classes spill into the shaded courtyards where the rhythm of cicadas becomes its own mantra.
We keep the space small and intentional. Classes are intimate. Teachers are invited — not hired. Nothing is performed, everything is offered.
A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams.— Ibicenco proverb
The small things that make practice easy when you arrive.
High-quality mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps are all provided. Come empty-handed.
Herbal tea and filtered water are always available. A small tea ceremony often follows the Monday class.
When the weather holds, we move practice outdoors — under the shade of the courtyard, surrounded by pines.
Classes are capped at 14 practitioners. Places are usually available, but reservation is recommended.
Our teachers modify generously. Whether you have practiced for 20 years or 20 minutes, you'll find your way in.
Come 10–15 minutes before class. Phones stay in the shoe area. We begin on time and close in silence.
